Maureen Horn joined the Clark County Republican Women’s Group in 2018.

Since early 2017 she has held the position of Precinct Committee Officer. Maureen has been actively engaged in supporting and electing conservative candidates for nearly a decade. She has served as a Legislative District Director and contributed to committees for local, state, and national campaigns.

In addition, Maureen has served as Co-Chair of the Clark County Republican Party Fair Booth and Co-Managed the CCRP Headquarters Office. In recognition of her dedication, she received the 2023 Volunteer of the Year award, presented at the Clark County Republican Party Central Committee meeting.

During her professional career, she held the role of Load Research Technician and Statistics Specialist, where her attention to detail was highly valued.

She later transitioned to the Marketing Department, as one of three employees taking calls for the newly created Water Heater Hotline and providing excellent support to customers and plumbers across six states. In this capacity, she developed lasting professional relationships, including friendships with a couple plumbers who attended her wedding.

Maureen has been married to Dan for 37 years and has two grown children.

After working ten years at the utility company, she became a stay-at-home mother.

Earlier in her life Maureen competed for eight years in various sports. In high school Maureen competed on the Track & Field and Cross-Country teams. She was a high jump record holder in both elementary and high school. Her teammates elected her Co-Captain of both sports in her senior year.

She approaches goals with a strong team-oriented mindset and undertakes tasks, no matter how modest, including cleanup after meetings.

One of Maureen’s personal interests is discovering unique items at upscale estate sales. Several of these finds have been contributed to Clark County Republican Women (CCRW) event tables. CCRW is pleased to have Maureen Horn serving as Chair of the Decorations Committee.
